From Georgia’s perfume counter to Lutecia
Lutecia’s perfume and cosmetics network began in Georgia in 1998, when international beauty retail was still being shaped for the local customer. Its story starts with scent, skincare advice and the habit of comparing products at the counter before choosing.
In 2000, the first store opened with Clarins, Thierry Mugler and Azzaro, placing treatment cosmetics and fragrance in the same shopping route. That mix is still what makes Lutecia different from a single-brand perfume shelf.
Today the company represents more than 50 brands, so the outlet shelves in Tbilisi can move between fragrance, skincare, colour cosmetics, gift sets and personal care. The exact bottle, shade or set depends on the delivery, which is why the category is safer to plan around than one product name.
